It is my first time to make a cabbage roll from scratch
but I'm glad it turned out pretty well and it wasn't even as hard as I expected!
You'll need: chopped onions, minced meat, bread crumbs,
egg, cabbage, water, milk, cream, broth powder, salt and pepper.
The steps: Mix (and knead) the onions, minced meat, egg, bread crumbs, water/milk and salt.
Steam the cabbage leaves for about 5-10 mins and cut the core.
Make an oblong shaped dumpling and roll with the cabbage (like how you do a spring roll).
Put the cabbage rolls in a casserole and add water, broth and cream.
Simmer for about 30 minutes (I added wiener sausages last minute for color presentation. ;p).
Add salt and pepper to taste.
