I love having lash extensions because you don't need to wear mascaras that are to hard take off, or curl your lashes and just hurt your eye when you're in a hurry. :p
Had lash extensions last saturday after taking a break for less than a year.
Went to a different salon this time that had a more adjustable menu, that is also just a couple of blocks away from my workplace so it'll be more convenient.
I like what my eyelist did to my lashes, I thought it was too long and too glam at first,
but I got used to it and now I think it's pretty and just enough lenght to be seen in pictures.
The problem is that some of the lashes are too near my lids that it pricks when I shower or when I close my eyes hard like when I need to sneeze!
I had the same problem with the first lash salon I went to (not to mention the extensions we're also a bit stiff), and I thought it was normal back then, but I never had this problem with the salon that I went after that. I have been going a few times, and the eyelist there is good and very fast in doing it but the thing is, she wasn't too friendly.
So now I went to this lash salon that did my lashes now, and this is what happens..
Gaahd I'm in a dilemma! Lol.
Should I go back to my unfriendly yet trusted ex-eyelist? Stay with my current one and just tell her what happened so she'd be more careful next time? Or go to a different one that is a bit far from here?
I would actually decide after a few weeks from now to see how long would this new extensions hold. The last one holded for about a month and a half.
Did you know that blow drying your lash ext after taking a bath would keep it hold longer, not to mention cleaner? I've discovered that when I realized the lashes don't stick together when I blow dry my hair. Hahaha.
Or if you're too lazy to blow dry, just make sure they are not sticking together when they dry or it would stay that way after and would hold more dirt. :)
